What is inside the deluxe flushing porta potty?
The deluxe flushing porta potty has a toilet with a foot-pump flush, a foot-pump sink with soap, paper towels, a mirror and a toilet paper holder. About 20 gallons of clean flush water rinse the bowl after each use, so guests never look down into the tank. The unit is self-contained.
The flushing unit needs no hose, no outlet and no sewer hookup. We fill the fresh water and charge the waste tank before delivery.
Guests step on the pedal, blue water rinses the bowl, and the waste drops into a closed tank below. That one change makes the flushing porta potty feel much closer to an indoor bathroom than a standard unit.
The sink sits inside the stall, so guests wash right after they use the toilet. It is still a portable unit, not a trailer, so there is no running hot water or electric light.

Tech specs: how many flushes does the flushable unit hold?
Quick answerThe flushable unit holds about 20 gallons of fresh flush water, which gives roughly 250 to 300 flushes before it needs service. The waste tank holds about 70 gallons. The unit measures about 44 inches wide, 50 inches deep and 92 inches tall, a few inches larger than a standard unit.
| Spec | Deluxe flushing unit (about) | Standard unit (about) |
|---|---|---|
| Footprint | 44 in W × 50 in D | 44 in W × 47 in D |
| Height | 92 in | 90 in |
| Fresh flush water | 20 gal | None |
| Waste tank | 70 gal | 60 gal |
| Uses before service | 250–300 flushes | roughly 200 uses |
| Sink | Foot-pump sink, soap, towels | Sanitizer only |
| Mirror | Yes | No |
| Hookups needed | None | None |
Flush count drops when guests pump the pedal two or three times. Plan for the low end, about 250 flushes, at a busy party.
Can we refill the flush water ourselves?
Quick answerRefilling the flush water yourself is not something we ask guests to do. A 20-gallon fill lasts about 250 flushes, enough for 50 guests over a 4-hour party. For a 2-day event, add one $55 service visit and our crew refills the flush water, refills the sink and pumps the waste tank together.
Topping up only the fresh water won't help when the waste tank is getting full. Both tanks need attention at the same time, which is why a service visit is the fix.
On monthly rentals, the weekly service already includes refilling the flush and sink water, so you never have to touch the tanks.
How much is a flushing porta potty rental in Cleveland?
A flushing porta potty rental in Cleveland starts at $265 for a 1–3 day event and $235 per 28-day cycle with weekly service. Delivery and pickup across Cleveland and nearby counties are included. That is about $100 more than a standard unit, and Ohio sales tax is added.
The flushing unit replaces a standard toilet plus a separate sink. A standard unit at $165 plus a hand washing station at $95 comes to $260, close to the $265 deluxe price. The deluxe unit takes less space and keeps the sink inside.
We don't charge card fees, fuel surcharges or removal fees. Same-day delivery adds $75, and Stark or Trumbull addresses add a $45 travel fee. Read the full breakdown on our porta potty rental cost page.

Is a flushable porta potty worth it for a large crowd?
Quick answerA flushable porta potty works best for groups under about 75 people. With roughly 250 to 300 flushes, one unit can run out of flush water at a 150-guest event before dinner ends. For big crowds, use standard units for volume and add one flushing unit or a restroom trailer for guests who want a nicer option.
Using the sizing chart, 150 guests at a 4-hour event need 3 units. A mix of 2 standard units and 1 deluxe flushing unit covers the count and gives a nicer option for older guests.
Above 150 guests, a 2-stall restroom trailer handles volume better than several flushing units. Run your numbers through our porta potty count calculator.
Where can the flushing unit go, and how is it delivered?
Quick answerThe flushing unit needs level, firm ground and a truck path within about 25 feet on a hard surface. The unit is about 44 inches wide, so we hand-cart it through gates 48 inches or wider. Level ground matters more than with a standard unit because the flush water and sink drain need a flat base.
- Pick a level spot of grass, gravel or pavement. We don't drive on lawns.
- Mark it with a cone, flag or chalk X, or text us a photo.
- Our driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving inside a 4-hour window.
Saturday parties get Friday drop-off and Monday pickup at no extra cost. Graduation season and July 4th week book up early, so reserve flushing units 7 or more days ahead.
When is the flushing porta potty the wrong choice?
Quick answerThe flushing porta potty is the wrong choice for job sites with rough use, events over 150 guests, and guests in wheelchairs. Construction crews drain the flush water fast and the sink needs more care. A wheelchair user needs our 87-inch-wide accessible unit, because the flushing unit door is a standard size.
- Crews and remodels: a standard unit with weekly service holds up better. See standard porta potty rental and our construction porta potty page.
- Guests with mobility needs: add a handicap porta potty.
- Food stations far from the toilet: a separate hand washing station lets cooks wash near the food.
For a wedding, many couples pair one deluxe flushing unit with standard units. Read our wedding restroom rental guide or compare all units on the services page.
How is the flushing unit cleaned and serviced?
A monthly flushing unit gets weekly service included in the $235 cycle price. The crew pumps the waste tank, refills the flush and sink water, scrubs and disinfects the bowl, walls and floor, and restocks soap, towels and paper. Event units arrive cleaned and stocked and are not serviced mid-rental unless you add a $55 visit.
Winter rentals from November through March get a non-toxic antifreeze charge. When lows stay below 28°F, the sink water can freeze, so ask us about swapping to a sanitizer dispenser.

Common questions
Does the flushable porta potty need a hose hookup?
The flushable porta potty is fully self-contained and needs no hose, outlet or sewer line. We fill about 20 gallons of flush water and stock the sink before delivery. That makes the flushing unit a good fit for parks, farms and backyards with no outdoor spigot.
Is the deluxe flushing unit bigger than the standard?
The deluxe flushing unit is about 50 inches deep and 92 inches tall, compared with about 47 by 90 inches for a standard unit. The floor area feels similar. Guests notice the sink and mirror more than the extra few inches of space.
Is the sink inside the flushing unit or outside?
The foot-pump sink is inside the flushing unit, next to the toilet, with soap, paper towels and a mirror. Guests wash up without stepping back outside. For a sink near a food table, add a separate hand washing station.
Does the flushing unit come with toilet paper, soap and paper towels?
The flushing unit arrives with 2 rolls of toilet paper, hand soap at the sink and a stack of paper towels. Monthly rentals get restocked at every weekly service. For a long party, leave a few extra rolls and towels on hand.
Will the flushing unit run out at my 100-person graduation party?
One flushing unit alone will likely run low at a 100-person graduation party, since it holds roughly 250 to 300 flushes. The chart calls for 2 units for 100 guests over 4 hours. Pair 1 flushing unit with 1 standard unit, or rent 2 flushing units.
Is the deluxe still a porta potty, or more like a real bathroom?
The deluxe flushing unit is still a portable restroom, but a flush, a sink and a mirror make it feel closer to a real bathroom. For lights, vanities and heat or air conditioning, step up to our restroom trailer from $795 per weekend.
How far ahead should I book a flushing porta potty?
Book a flushing porta potty at least 7 days ahead for graduation season, July 4th week, Labor Day and fall festivals. Outside those weeks, next-business-day delivery is standard, and same-day delivery works when you confirm by noon.
