Booking and delivery
What information do you need to book a porta potty?
We need the delivery address and ZIP, the delivery and pickup dates, how many units, which type, the guest or crew count, and a mobile number. A note about where the unit goes, plus any gate code, saves the driver a call.
How much notice do you need to book?
Next-business-day delivery is the normal lead time. Same-day works when you confirm by noon, Monday through Saturday. For graduation weekends, July 4th week and fall festival weekends, book at least 7 days ahead. Restroom trailers need 3–7 days.
What time will the driver show up?
You get a 4-hour arrival window the day before delivery. The driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving. Early-morning drops can be requested when you book, but we can't promise an exact minute.
Can you deliver the day before my event?
Delivering the day before is the normal plan for events. A Saturday party gets a Friday drop-off and a Monday pickup at no extra charge, so the unit is in place and checked before guests arrive.
Can you deliver to a property with no street address?
Delivery works with GPS coordinates or a dropped map pin. Text the pin to (216) 223-2644 along with a photo of the spot. This is common for raw land, new subdivisions and farm fields.
Do you deliver to parks, churches and parking lots?
Parks, church lots, school lots and business parking lots are all fine. Some city parks require a permit or the park office's OK for outside equipment, so check with the park before booking.
Can I add another unit after I book?
Units can be added to an existing order up to the afternoon before delivery, if stock allows. Call or text the same number and we'll update the itemized total.
Can I text my order instead of calling?
Texting works the same as calling. Send the address, dates, unit count and a photo of the spot to (216) 223-2644, and you'll get an itemized quote back by text within 1 business hour.
Can the driver call me when they pull in so I can open the gate?
The driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving, and can call again at the gate. Add a note to your order with the gate code or the best number to reach whoever is on site.
Can you deliver Thursday instead of Friday for a Saturday event?
Thursday delivery works for a Saturday event when you want extra setup time. The price stays the same; event pricing covers up to 3 days, and a Thursday drop with a Monday pickup is still treated as one event rental.
Do you charge by the mile?
We don't charge by the mile. Delivery and pickup are included in every county we serve except Stark and Trumbull, and Stark and Trumbull County addresses pay one flat $45 travel fee.
How long is my quote good for?
A quote holds for 7 days, or until the date sells out, whichever comes first. Busy weekends can fill up, so booking locks in the unit and the price.
Can you email or text me the quote so I can show my boss or board?
Every quote can be texted or emailed as an itemized PDF. It lists the unit, dates, delivery and pickup, any fees and tax, so whoever approves it sees the full number.
Do I need an account on your website to order?
Ordering works without an account. Call, text or send the short quote form, and we book it with you directly.
Same-day and emergency rentals
Can you get a porta potty out here today?
Same-day delivery runs Monday through Saturday when the order is confirmed by 12:00 noon. The same-day fee is $75 per order. After noon, the order goes on the next business day's route.
Is there a same-day porta potty service on Sunday?
Our trucks don't run on Sunday. A Sunday need gets delivered Saturday, or Monday morning if you call on Sunday. Plan Sunday events for a Saturday drop.
My septic system backed up. What should I rent?
One standard porta potty is enough for most households of up to about 6 people with weekly service. Rent it monthly, since septic repairs often run past a week. Add a hand-washing station if there's no working sink.
Another company didn't show up. Can you cover it?
We can cover a no-show if you call before noon, Monday through Saturday. Have the address, the unit count and the placement spot ready. The $75 same-day fee applies.
Is it cheaper to wait a day than to rush it?
Waiting one business day saves the $75 same-day fee. If your need can wait until tomorrow, order before close and it goes on the next route with no rush fee.
Can you guarantee delivery by 8 or 9 in the morning?
We can't promise an exact time, but early-morning drops can be requested. For a morning event, the safest plan is a delivery the afternoon before.
The park bathrooms are locked or out of order. Can you get us a unit fast?
Same-day delivery covers this when you order by noon. Tell us the park name and the spot, and check whether the park allows outside equipment before the truck arrives.
Weekends and events
Do you deliver or pick up on weekends?
Saturday deliveries and pickups are available during our 7 am to 7 pm hours. We don't run on Sunday. Most weekend events get a Friday drop and a Monday pickup.
Do I pay extra for the days the unit sits over the weekend?
The extra days around a weekend event cost nothing. The event price covers a 1–3 day rental, which includes a Friday drop-off and Monday pickup.
Will the porta potty be cleaned during my event?
Event units arrive cleaned and stocked and aren't serviced during a 1–3 day rental. For a multi-day festival or a big crowd, add a mid-event service for $55 per visit.
Is it dark inside at night?
Standard units have a translucent roof, so they're bright in daytime but dark after sunset. For evening events, put a battery lantern or motion light inside. Restroom trailers have built-in lights.
Can we label one unit for women and one for men?
Units can be labeled. Most wedding hosts tape a simple sign on each door. With a restroom trailer, the two sides already have men's and women's doors.
Is an event unit different from a construction unit?
Event units are the cleanest, newest units available and fully stocked with paper and sanitizer. Construction units are the same design but are built for weekly service through a 28-day cycle.
I only need it Saturday. Can you pick it up Sunday?
Sunday pickups aren't available because our trucks don't run Sundays. The unit gets picked up Monday at no extra charge.
Can you pick it up the night of the event?
Same-night pickups after a Saturday event can be arranged before 7 pm when the site will be locked the next day. Ask when you book so the route is planned.
Does a holiday weekend change the price?
Holiday weekends don't change our listed prices. They do change availability: book July 4th, Memorial Day and Labor Day units at least a week ahead. Pickups after a Monday holiday move to Tuesday.
Do you give discounts for nonprofits or charity events?
Nonprofits pay no sales tax with an exemption certificate, and multi-unit charity events get a volume price on the quote. Ask when you call.
Should we get his-and-hers units for 100 guests?
Two standard units cover 100 guests for a 4-hour party, so labeling one for women and one for men works well. Add a third unit if you're serving alcohol.
Pricing and payment
Does the price include delivery and pickup?
Delivery and pickup are included for addresses in every county we serve except Stark and Trumbull. Stark and Trumbull County addresses pay a flat $45 travel fee per order.
Do you charge a fuel surcharge or card fee?
We don't charge a fuel surcharge, a credit card fee or a removal fee. The quote shows the unit price, any same-day or travel fee, and Ohio sales tax. That's the total.
How do I pay?
We take Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover when you book. Payment is by phone or a secure pay link we text you. Approved contractors can apply for a net-15 invoiced account.
Can someone else pay, like our treasurer?
Someone else can pay. We'll text or email the pay link to the treasurer, office manager or parent, and the booking is confirmed once the payment clears.
Will I get a receipt and an invoice?
Every order gets an itemized invoice and a receipt by email. Contractors on a monthly rental get a fresh invoice each 28-day cycle.
Can you match another company's price?
Send us the other company's written quote. If it's for the same unit, dates and service, we'll tell you honestly whether we can match it. Check that the other quote includes delivery, pickup and fees.
We're a church. Do we pay sales tax?
Tax-exempt groups pay no Ohio sales tax once they send their exemption certificate. Send it before you pay so the invoice is right the first time.
Units and what's inside
What's inside a standard porta potty?
A standard unit has a toilet seat over a 60-gallon tank, a urinal, a toilet paper holder with 2 rolls, a hand sanitizer dispenser, a coat hook, a vent stack and a translucent roof. The door locks from inside.
Do you have a porta potty with a sink inside?
Our flushing unit has a foot-pump sink with fresh water and a mirror inside, plus a real flush. It starts at $265 for an event. See the flushing porta potty page.
How many flushes does a flushing porta potty hold?
A flushing unit holds about 20 gallons of fresh flush water, which gives roughly 250 to 300 flushes before it needs service. That's why we suggest more units, or a trailer, for big crowds.
Is a handicap porta potty roomier?
The wheelchair-accessible unit is about 87 by 87 inches inside, with a 60-inch turning circle, a ground-level floor and grab bars. Guests in wedding dresses and parents with small kids also appreciate the room.
Is it cheaper to get a toilet with a sink or a separate hand-wash station?
For a single toilet, the cost is nearly the same: a flushing unit with a sink is $265, and a standard unit plus a hand-wash station is $260. The flushing unit takes less space. For 3 or more toilets, one shared hand-wash station per 2–3 units costs less.
Do you have two toilets in one unit?
Two toilets under one roof is a restroom trailer. Our 2-stall trailer has separate men's and women's rooms with flushing toilets and sinks. It needs a 110V outlet nearby.
Can I rent a restroom trailer for just a few hours?
Restroom trailers rent by the weekend, not the hour, because setup, leveling and cleaning take the same time either way. Pricing starts at $795 for a 2-stall trailer.
Can the porta potty be locked?
Every unit has a lock hasp on the door. Bring your own padlock to lock it between work days or overnight. Give us the code or a key before service day.
Does a standard porta potty have a urinal?
Our standard unit has a wall urinal next to the seat. That speeds up lines at events and on jobsites with mostly male crews.
Is a flushing porta potty like a real bathroom?
A flushing unit is still a portable toilet, but it has a foot-pump flush, a sink and a mirror, so guests never see the tank. For a true bathroom experience, rent a restroom trailer.
Does the flushing unit need a hose hookup?
The flushing unit doesn't need a hose. We fill its fresh-water tank before delivery. Restroom trailers are different: they need a hose connection or our water fill, plus a 110V outlet.
Does someone with a walker need the accessible unit?
A wheelchair-accessible unit helps anyone with a walker, cane or limited balance because the floor is ground level and grab bars are inside. Order one if any guest has trouble with a step.
Are your restroom trailers heated or air-conditioned?
Our restroom trailers have climate control, which keeps them comfortable for summer weddings and fall events. They need a standard 110V outlet within 100 ft to run it.
Do you rent shower trailers or eye-wash stations?
We rent porta potties, hand-washing stations and restroom trailers only. For shower trailers or eye-wash stations, a specialty site-services supplier is the right call.
Can you send me a picture of the unit?
Photos of every unit type are on our unit pages, and we can text a photo of the actual unit on request. Event units are the newest, cleanest units available.
Cleaning and servicing
How often do you clean a monthly porta potty?
Monthly units get serviced once a week, included in the price. Crews over 10 people or busy sites can add a second weekly visit for $55.
What happens during a service visit?
The tech pumps the tank, scrubs and disinfects the seat, walls, urinal and floor, adds fresh deodorizer, and restocks toilet paper and sanitizer. Units with a sink get fresh water.
What is the blue liquid in a porta potty?
The blue liquid is a deodorizer and holding-tank treatment that slows bacteria and masks odor. The dye hides what's in the tank. Every service adds a fresh charge.
Can you reschedule a service if no one can let you in?
Service days can be moved if you text by 7 am that day. Better yet, give us the gate code or lock combination so service never gets skipped.
Can you pump out my RV or camper tank?
We only service our own portable restroom units. For an RV or camper black tank, call a septic or mobile pump-out company.
Who refills the sink if there's no water on site?
We refill the sink. Flushing units and hand-washing stations arrive full, and monthly units get refilled at every weekly service.
Can you pump out a porta potty I already own?
We only service our own units, because our route schedule and tank treatments are set up for them. We're happy to replace your unit with a rental that includes weekly service.
If the hand sanitizer runs out, does it cost more?
Restocking sanitizer and paper is part of every service visit, at no extra charge. For a big event, ask the driver to leave extra rolls at drop-off.
Placement and access
Does the porta potty need to be on flat ground?
The unit needs firm, level ground. Grass, gravel and pavement all work, and a slight slope is fine because the driver shims it. Avoid soft mud and low spots where water collects.
Can you put it in my backyard?
Backyard placement works when there's a gate at least 48 inches wide and a hard path for the hand cart. The truck must park within about 25 ft of the gate. We don't drive trucks on lawns.
Can the porta potty go on the street?
Street placement needs a right-of-way permit from your city. In Cleveland, that's the City of Cleveland. Driveways, yards and private lots don't need one.
Should I mark the spot?
Mark the exact spot with a cone, flag or chalk X, or text us a photo with an arrow. That lets the driver drop the unit even if nobody is home.
Can I move the porta potty myself?
Please don't move it. A standard unit weighs about 160 lb empty and much more once used, and tipping it causes a mess and a damage charge. Text us and we'll move it on the next visit.
Our jobsite is moving partway through. Can the unit move with us?
Units can be moved to a new address mid-rental. A move within our included zone is billed like an extra service visit, $55.
Monthly rentals and pickup
How long can I keep a porta potty?
Event rentals cover 1–3 days. Monthly rentals renew every 28 days for as long as you need, with no long-term contract.
Does the monthly rental renew automatically?
Monthly rentals renew on the same card every 28 days until you ask for pickup. You'll get a text reminder before each new cycle bills.
Do I need to call for pickup or will you just take it?
Event units get picked up on the scheduled date automatically. Monthly units stay until you text or call for pickup, 2 business days ahead. Billing stops on the pickup date you choose.
Does the 28 days start when I order or when you deliver?
The 28-day cycle starts on the delivery date, not the order date. A unit delivered on the 3rd is billed again on the 31st if it's still there.
Can I prepay for several months?
Contractors and homeowners with a known end date can prepay several 28-day cycles. Any unused full cycle is refunded when we pick the unit up early.
Can I start with one week and add more time later?
Start with a monthly unit if the job might run past a few days. A 28-day cycle covers you either way, and you stop billing by asking for pickup.
If I keep an event unit past the pickup date, will I be charged more?
An event unit kept past 3 days converts to a monthly rental at the 28-day price, with weekly service. Tell us early so the service visit gets scheduled.
Can I rent a porta potty year-round for my business?
Year-round rentals work on the same 28-day cycle with weekly service, and the rate doesn't climb after the first cycle. Retail lots, marinas and farms often keep a unit all year.
We have a multi-phase project lasting months. Can we set up an account?
Contractors with long or multi-site projects can apply for a net-15 account. You get one invoice per cycle, units can be added or moved, and each site gets its own service day.
Damage, security and permits
What if the porta potty gets vandalized?
Normal wear is on us. Damage from tipping, fire, graffiti or vandalism is billed at repair cost, capped at $1,200 for a standard unit. A padlock on the hasp and a spot away from the street help.
Is it safe to leave a unit in a public park over the weekend?
A unit left in a public park overnight can be used or tipped by people passing through. Ask for a Saturday morning delivery instead of Friday, and use a padlock until the event starts.
Will your truck damage my driveway or lawn?
Our trucks stay on hard surfaces and we hand-cart units across lawns. On very wet ground, a cart can leave ruts; we'll suggest a firmer spot if we see it.
Do I need a permit for a porta potty at my house?
A porta potty in your driveway or yard doesn't need a permit in most Northeast Ohio cities. Street placement does, and some HOAs set their own rules, so check your HOA's guidelines.
Winter rentals
Do porta potties freeze in winter?
A porta potty tank can freeze in a Cleveland winter without treatment. From November through March we add a salt-brine or non-toxic antifreeze charge to every tank to keep it liquid.
Can I rent a hand-washing station in winter?
Hand-wash water freezes when lows stay below about 28°F. In those weeks we can swap the station for extra sanitizer dispensers, on request.
Do you service porta potties after a lake-effect snow?
Service continues through winter. If a storm makes the route unsafe, the visit moves to the next safe day. Keep a 4-ft path shoveled to the door and a truck path within 25 ft.
