Can I order a same-day porta potty for an Akron-area address?
Quick answerSame-day porta potty delivery reaches Summit County when you order and confirm by 12:00 noon, Monday to Saturday, for a $75 fee. Because southern Summit County is about an hour out, a noon order usually lands in the afternoon window. Orders after noon come the next business day with no rush fee.
Every delivery gets a 4-hour window. The driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving, and you don't need to be home if the spot is marked with a cone, flag or chalk X.
Summit County fills early in late May and June for graduation parties and on summer weekends around the Portage Lakes. Book 7 or more days ahead for those dates. The same-day rental page explains how the noon cutoff works.
Can you deliver for an event near Cuyahoga Valley National Park?
Quick answerEvents on Cuyahoga Valley National Park land need a permit from the National Park Service, and the park decides whether outside restrooms are allowed and where they go. We deliver once you hold that approval. Private land next to the park, such as a farm, church or backyard in Peninsula or Boston Heights, needs only the landholder's OK.
Read the rules on the Cuyahoga Valley National Park website before you plan a trailhead gathering, race or reunion. Many park roads are narrow and winding, so tell us about low branches, tight turns or gravel lanes when you book.
- Our truck needs a hard surface within about 25 feet of the unit.
- Branches or wires under 12 feet block the truck.
- Saturday events: Friday drop, Monday pickup, no charge for the extra days.

What do Summit County builders and remodelers rent?
Summit County builders mostly rent standard porta potties on a 28-day cycle, starting at $145 with weekly service included. New subdivisions in Hudson, Twinsburg, Green and Copley usually need 1 unit per house or small crew. OSHA requires 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers, and we suggest 1 unit per 10 workers.
Weekly service means we pump the tank, scrub and disinfect the walls, seat and floor, and restock paper and sanitizer. Crews over 10 can add extra service visits at $55 per visit. The rule itself is at OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51.
The cycle renews until you ask for pickup, with no long-term contract. Text or call 2 business days ahead, and billing stops on the pickup date you choose. More on construction porta potty rental.
How many units does a Portage Lakes or backyard graduation party need?
Quick answerA 4-hour Summit County party for 100 guests needs 2 standard porta potties. Add 1 unit per 100 guests when alcohol is served, and 1 hand-wash station for every 2 to 3 toilets when food is out. A 150-guest lake party with beer and a buffet comes to 5 units and 2 hand-wash stations.
| Guests (4 hours) | No alcohol | With alcohol |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | 1 | 2 |
| 100 | 2 | 3 |
| 150 | 3 | 5 |
| 200 | 4 | 6 |
Lake lots in New Franklin and Coventry are often narrow and sloped toward the water. Pick a level spot near the driveway rather than down by the dock; a slight slope is fine, a steep one is not.

Summit County: common questions
Is there an extra charge to deliver to Green or Barberton?
Green and Barberton pay the same delivery as Hudson or Akron: nothing extra. Delivery and pickup are included across Summit County. Your quote lists units, days or cycle, any same-day fee and Ohio sales tax at the Summit County rate, and nothing is added after booking.
Can I keep a porta potty at my Summit County house while the septic is replaced?
A monthly rental covers a septic replacement. A standard unit runs from $145 per 28 days with weekly service included, and the cycle renews until you ask for pickup. Many septic jobs in Bath, Copley and Richfield take 2 to 6 weeks, and billing stops on the pickup date you request.
Can a unit go in a Stow or Tallmadge backyard through a side gate?
A side gate 48 inches or wider lets us hand-cart a standard unit into a Stow or Tallmadge backyard. Our truck must park within about 25 feet on a hard surface, and we don't drive across lawns. Measure the gate opening before you book, and tell us about steps or a steep grade.
Do you deliver to Summit Metro Parks shelters?
Summit Metro Parks shelters can get a delivery once the park approves outside restrooms for your rental. Send us the park, the shelter name and a map pin. The park decides where a truck may drive, so ask about the closest paved spot when you reserve.
What if snow covers my Twinsburg job site in winter?
Winter service in northern Summit County works when you keep a 4-foot path shoveled to the door and a clear truck path within about 25 feet. From November to March we add a salt-brine or non-toxic antifreeze charge to the tank so the contents don't freeze.
